BioLieutenant Winters is a Platoon Leader in Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th PIR, 101st ABN DIV. He has been with the company since its formation and is respected by many of the men. He is close friends with Lewis Nixon and Harry Welsh, though he gets along with most everyone.
He will stay with Easy Company/2nd Battalion throughout the duration of the war in Europe, eventually reaching the rank of Major.
He is a quiet, compassionate man who genuinely cares about his men. A non-drinker and a non-smoker, he is teased for being somewhat proper. He leads from the front, living the Infantry motto of "Follow Me." Through his actions, he has gained the respect and loyalty of the soldiers he leads.
After the war, he dreams of returning home to a quiet bit of land where he can live his life in peace.
